Apply Turkey ("we", "us") operates the Apply Turkey platform at applyturkey.net, which connects prospective students with universities in Türkiye and supports agents who recruit on students' behalf.

• Account data: your name, email address, phone number and password (stored as a one-way hash).
• Profile data: for students — passport number, date of birth, nationality, country and city of residence; for agents — agency name, address and country.
• Application data: the courses you apply to, application statuses, messages exchanged on the platform, and documents you upload (passports, transcripts, diplomas, photos and similar).
• Technical data: basic server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) used for security and troubleshooting.

3. How we use your data

• To create and maintain your account and let you use the platform.
• To process your applications and share the necessary details with the universities you apply to.
• To let agents you authorize manage applications on your behalf.
• To send service notifications (application status changes, document requests, account security).
• To keep the platform secure and prevent misuse.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Who can see your data

• Universities receive the application details and documents for the programs you apply to.
• Your authorized agent (if any) can view and manage your applications.
• Our staff can access data only as needed to operate the platform and support you.

5. Data retention

We keep your account and application data for as long as your account is active and as required for legal or legitimate operational purposes. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us; some records may be retained where the law requires it.

7. Security
